Make a highlight video with brag
Turn raw gameplay into a punchy 30–60s trailer — no video-editing skills needed.
A trailer is optional — but games with a video get noticeably more plays. brag is the STAIGE highlight workflow: record gameplay → auto-pick the best moments → export a short, shareable clip.
Option A — the brag CLI
npx @latent-spaces/bragRun it in your game folder. It launches your game, records a play session, finds the high-action moments (score spikes, explosions, fast movement) and cuts them into a trailer with your title card. Upload the result to YouTube (unlisted is fine) and paste the link on STAIGE.
Option B — add a “brag mode” with your AI assistant
Ask your assistant to add a tiny recorder to your game. It records the canvas while you play and keeps the best bits.
Add a "brag mode" to my browser game that records a highlight video: - Press B to start/stop recording. Use canvas.captureStream(60) + MediaRecorder (webm, vp9 if supported). - Keep a rolling buffer of 5-second chunks and tag chunks where "exciting" things happen (score increases, enemy defeated, level complete — hook into my existing events). - When stopped, stitch the top tagged chunks (max 45 seconds total) plus a 2-second title card with the game name, and download brag.webm. - Don't change gameplay; the recorder must be fully optional. Explain where you hooked the excitement events.
Option C — manual (5 minutes)
- Record with OBS, Xbox Game Bar (Win+G) or macOS Screenshot (Cmd+Shift+5).
- Trim to 30–60s in CapCut or Clipchamp: hook in the first 3 seconds, end on your title.
- Export 1080p, upload to YouTube, paste the link.
Trailer tips: start with action (no logos first), show the core loop within 5 seconds, keep text short, end with the game title + “Play free on STAIGE”.
